The Verdun Digital Card is a member identification tool used within the It’s A Verdun Thing family ecosystem. It helps members verify identity, connect to the Verdun Family Directory, access member features, and participate in family, business, and athlete-related network activities.
The Digital Card is designed to support a connected family economy by giving members a branded, mobile-friendly identity that can be used across the platform.
Digital Cards may be issued to approved members of the Verdun family network, including adult members and, where permitted, minors with verifiable parental or guardian consent.
We may limit access to certain features for minors or require a parent or guardian to manage the card on the minor’s behalf.
The Digital Card may be used to:
Verify membership.
Connect to the Verdun Family Directory.
Access member-only features.
Identify family businesses or approved network roles.
Support athlete, family, and business visibility within the ecosystem.
The card may be displayed in a mobile wallet, member portal, or other approved digital format.
A Digital Card may include:
Member name.
Member ID number.
Membership status or level.
Profile image or approved photo.
Directory connection.
Family or business designation.
QR code or similar access feature.
We may change the fields shown on a card at any time to improve security, privacy, or functionality.
The Verdun Digital Card may be used as part of a monetization or fundraising system that helps members raise money, support family goals, and build value within the Verdun economy.
If a card is connected to a fundraising, sponsorship, NIL, referral, or commission-based activity, the member is responsible for using it honestly and only for approved purposes.
We may set rules for payout timing, fee deductions, transaction review, and campaign approval.
The Digital Card may be linked to the Verdun Family Directory so members can find one another, recognize one another, and identify family-owned businesses or approved member profiles.
Directory access may be limited by role, membership level, age, or consent settings.
Athletes using the Verdun Digital Card may have profile, event, or promotional features tied to their card. Any athlete-related use must follow our athlete policy, NIL policy, consent requirements, and any school, league, or applicable governing rules.
Athlete cards may be used for visibility, identity, sponsorship opportunities, and approved earnings only when permitted under this policy and related policies.
The Digital Card belongs to the member account under which it is issued and may not be sold, transferred, altered, or shared without permission. We may suspend or revoke access if we believe the card is being misused, shared improperly, or used in violation of our policies.
We may update or deactivate a card if a member changes status, requests an update, loses access, or violates platform rules.
Members should protect their login information and avoid sharing card credentials or access links with unauthorized users.
If a member leaves the network, requests removal, or becomes inactive, the card may be disabled or deleted according to our recordkeeping and privacy policies. Minors’ cards may also be removed at the request of a parent or guardian.
This policy works together with our Privacy Policy, FERPA/COPPA Policy, Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Code of Conduct, Licensing and Copyright Policy, NIL Policy, and any athlete, fundraising, or directory policies. If there is a conflict, the more specific policy for the feature involved will control.
