The Verdun family ecosystem may include athletes who use digital cards, directory profiles, promotional tools, and monetization features. This policy explains how athletes may use the platform while protecting privacy, maintaining integrity, and respecting applicable school, league, and NIL rules.

2. Athlete Profiles

Athletes may be allowed to create or maintain a profile, digital card, or directory listing showing approved identity, sport, team, achievements, contact details, and related information. We may limit what is shown based on age, consent, team rules, or privacy settings.

3. Permitted Use

Athletes may use the platform to:

• Present a branded digital identity.

• Connect to the family directory.

• Share approved athletic information.

• Promote personal brand activity.

• Participate in approved NIL or fundraising opportunities.

• Support family or community projects.

4. NIL and Promotional Activity

Athletes may be able to receive compensation for approved name, image, and likeness activity if it is lawful and permitted by the athlete’s school, league, governing body, and applicable law. Any NIL use through the platform must be disclosed, truthful, and approved when required.

5. Restrictions

Athletes may not:

• Misrepresent team, school, or league affiliation.

• Use the platform to violate team rules or NIL restrictions.

• Share confidential or restricted athletic information.

• Use copyrighted, trademarked, or third-party materials without permission.

• Make false claims about performance, recruiting, or sponsorship.

• Use another athlete’s identity or content without permission.

6. Media and Likeness

If the platform uses athlete photos, videos, highlights, or profile images, the athlete or their parent/guardian must approve use where required. We may also require a separate media release or likeness permission for public-facing content.

7. Privacy and Minors

If the athlete is a minor, the athlete’s parent or guardian may need to approve the account, directory listing, card use, media use, and any monetization activity. We may limit visibility or remove content to protect the athlete’s privacy and comply with applicable law.

8. Enforcement

We may suspend or remove athlete access, profiles, cards, or promotional tools if we believe the athlete has violated this policy, another platform policy, or applicable law.
