Code of Conduct

Purpose

This Code of Conduct sets the standards for how members behave in the It’s A Verdun Thing membership area. It helps us maintain a respectful, inclusive, and family‑friendly environment for all.

Expected Behavior
  • Be kind, patient, and considerate toward other members.

  • Listen to others and respect different backgrounds, opinions, and experiences.

  • Use constructive feedback instead of criticism that is personal or degrading.

  • Follow the rules of any specific group, event, or project you join.

Prohibited Behavior

Members must not:

  • Engage in harassment, threats, stalking, or intimidation.

  • Promote hate, discrimination, or extremist views.

  • Share illegal content, scams, phishing links, or malicious files.

  • Post or distribute pornography, gore, or other highly inappropriate material.

  • Impersonate staff, other members, or public figures.

  • Use the community to promote or coordinate illegal activities.

How We Handle Violations
  • Moderators may remove posts, require edits, or temporarily limit access when a rule is broken.

  • For repeated or severe violations, members may receive warnings and ultimately have their access suspended or removed.

  • We will take action when a member’s behavior makes others feel unsafe or excluded.

Reporting Issues

If you see something that violates this Code of Conduct:

  • Use the built‑in “Report” or “Flag” feature if available.

  • Or contact us at info@itsaverdunthing.com with details (member username, post, date, and what happened).

  • We will investigate and act as fairly and quickly as possible, while respecting everyone’s privacy.

By creating a membership account and using the community, you agree to follow this Code of Conduct and all associated Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
