The Verdun family ecosystem may support NIL activity for athletes who use the platform. This policy explains how name, image, and likeness opportunities may be displayed, approved, and managed through digital cards, profiles, directory listings, and related promotional features.
For purposes of this policy, NIL means an athlete’s name, image, likeness, voice, signature, branding, profile, and related promotional identity. Athletes may be compensated by third parties for approved NIL activity, including posts, appearances, promotions, endorsements, or other lawful brand participation.
Athletes may participate in NIL features only if they are permitted to do so under applicable school, league, state, NCAA, or other governing rules. If the athlete is a minor, parent or guardian approval may also be required.
Approved NIL activity may include:
Sponsored social media posts.
Brand or family ecosystem promotions.
Appearance-based features.
Athlete profile visibility.
Merchandise or brand collaborations.
Approved fundraising or monetization tied to the athlete’s identity.
Athletes must disclose NIL activity when required and may need platform approval before content, branding, or compensation is posted or activated. We may request supporting details such as the nature of the deal, sponsor name, compensation terms, or related deliverables.
Athletes may not:
Use NIL tools in a way that violates school, league, or NCAA rules.
Accept pay for play or improper recruiting inducements.
Misrepresent sponsorships or endorsements.
Use third-party content without permission.
Make claims that are false, misleading, or unapproved.
Allow their profile to be used by others without consent.
Athlete NIL information may be limited, hidden, or restricted based on age, consent, or privacy settings. We may limit public visibility of athlete details to protect the athlete and reduce unnecessary exposure of sensitive information.
If an athlete earns compensation through the platform, payouts may be subject to verification, age restrictions, tax handling, fees, and applicable payment processor rules. We may delay, hold, or deny payout if we suspect fraud, a policy violation, or missing documentation.
We may suspend or remove NIL access, athlete profiles, digital card features, or monetization tools if we believe a user has violated this policy or any related platform policy.
