The Verdun family ecosystem may include fundraising and monetization features designed to help members raise money, support family goals, and build value within the Verdun network. These features may be connected to digital cards, profiles, campaigns, business listings, referrals, sponsorships, or other approved platform tools.
Monetization may be used for approved purposes such as:
Family support campaigns.
Youth and athlete fundraising.
Approved business promotions.
Member-led initiatives.
Community support or special projects.
Members who use monetization tools are responsible for making sure their content, claims, and campaigns are truthful, lawful, and consistent with platform rules. Members must not misrepresent the purpose of a campaign, the use of funds, or their relationship to any family, school, team, organization, or sponsor.
If funds are being raised through the platform, we may require clear disclosures explaining:
What the money is for.
Who is receiving it.
Whether fees apply.
How long payouts may take.
Whether the campaign is tied to a business, athlete, or family project.
We may apply service fees, processing fees, or other deductions where applicable. Payout timing may vary based on verification, campaign status, payment processor rules, or fraud review.
Minors may not independently create or manage monetization campaigns unless allowed by law and approved by a parent or guardian. Any fundraising activity involving a child or minor must comply with FERPA/COPPA rules, privacy rules, and parental consent requirements.
Users may not:
Run deceptive or fraudulent campaigns.
Use another person’s identity without permission.
Misuse family, athlete, or business branding.
Hide the true purpose of the funds.
Circumvent payout or verification rules.
Use the platform for unlawful solicitation.
We may pause, remove, or restrict monetization tools at any time if we believe a campaign is misleading, unsafe, unlawful, or inconsistent with our policies. We may also request documentation before releasing funds or approving a campaign.
