  1. Purpose

The Verdun Family & Business Directory is a private network feature designed to help Verdun family members and approved members connect with one another, identify family-owned businesses, and strengthen the family ecosystem. The directory exists to support connection, visibility, collaboration, and the growth of the Verdun family economy.

The directory may include family members, business listings, service providers, athlete profiles, and other approved network participants, depending on membership status and privacy settings.

  1. Directory Access

Access to the directory may be limited to approved members, current members, specific membership levels, or other authorized users determined by the platform. We may restrict access to certain listings, business details, or contact information to protect privacy and preserve the integrity of the network.

Members may not share directory access credentials, scrape directory data, or distribute directory content outside the platform without permission.

  1. What May Be Listed

Directory listings may include:

  • Name.
  • Family relationship or affiliation.
  • Photo or profile image.
  • Email or contact information.
  • Business name.
  • Services offered.
  • Location.
  • Website or social media links.
  • Membership level or directory category.

For minors, athlete profiles, or sensitive family situations, we may limit the information shown or require additional consent before listing.

  1. Business Access

Business access is part of the directory and is intended to help members discover Verdun-owned businesses, family services, and approved professional offerings. Business listings are for visibility and connection within the ecosystem, not for misuse, unauthorized solicitation, or misuse of contact details.

Any business listing must be truthful, current, and approved by the account holder or authorized representative. We may remove or limit a business listing that is misleading, inactive, incomplete, or inconsistent with the platform’s purpose.

  1. Acceptable Use

The directory may be used to:

  • Find and contact family members.
  • Discover Verdun-owned businesses and services.
  • Build collaboration, support, and opportunity within the network.
  • Verify member relationships and directory visibility.

The directory may not be used to:

  • Send spam, bulk messages, or unsolicited sales pitches.
  • Promote non-approved products or services.
  • Solicit contributions, sponsorships, or business opportunities outside the platform’s intended use.
  • Copy, resell, or redistribute directory data.
  • Use the directory for any unlawful, harmful, or discriminatory purpose.
  1. Privacy and Consent

Directory visibility may depend on privacy settings, membership type, age, or parental consent. Where required by law or platform policy, we will obtain permission before displaying a child’s or minor’s information in the directory.

Members may also request that certain information be hidden, suppressed, or removed from the directory, subject to platform rules and verification.

  1. Corrections and Updates

Members are responsible for keeping their directory information accurate and up to date. If you need to update your profile, business information, or contact details, you may contact us at info@itsaverdunthing.com.

We may also update or remove directory information if a listing becomes outdated, incomplete, or inconsistent with our policies.

  1. Removal and Suspension

We may suspend, limit, or remove directory access for any user who violates this policy, breaches other platform rules, or misuses directory information. This includes inappropriate solicitation, abuse, unauthorized sharing, or misuse of family and business data.

Parents or guardians may request removal or restriction of a minor’s listing, where applicable.

  1. Relationship to Other Policies

This policy works with our Privacy Policy, FERPA/COPPA Policy, Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Code of Conduct, Digital Card Policy, NIL Policy, and any fundraising or athlete policies. If a conflict exists, the more specific policy for that feature will control.
